Profile

Oaktree Lodge has been a family owned and run Residential Home in Clevedon since 2004, just a few minutes from the M5 motorway junction 21, occupying a hilltop position with fabulous views.

In December 2019 the home was aquired by the new owners - Sophie and Deian.  Both have an extensive knowledge of the social care sector and have run award winning Manor Community for over 10 years.  Sophie and Deian inherited a fantastic team who are passionate about the care they provide.

The Oaktree Senior Team:

Deian Glyn - Home Owner

Sophie Chester-Glyn - Home Owner

Maria Mathias - Home Manager / Registered Manager

Florance Macwan - Deputy Manager - Senior Support Worker/Shift Leader

Katie Hoy - Senior Support Worker/Shift Leader

Jacqueline Mitchell - Senior Support Worker/Shift Leader

All staff are dedicated and caring, most have been employed with Oaktree for a number of years. The team pride themselves on knowing the residents and meeting their needs on an individual basis. If you feel you would like to pursue a career in care, please call Maria who can offer advice and help on 01275 873171.

We do consider pets but an appropriate assessment would need to be made by our Home Manager at point of application. Pets are welcome to visit, and we also have our own resident cat living on the communal floor. Jessie is our lovely, young black and white female cat who is loved by all our residents.  Her favourite time of day is the quieter evenings when she loves nothing more than to snuggle up on a warm lap for a cuddle and a bit of fuss!

It is important to stress that visitors are always welcome at Oaktree and in fact if you have a talent that you'd like to showcase, or would like to volunteer some of your time to spend with our residents, we'd be very glad to hear from you. Please call us on 01275 873171.

Oaktree Management's efforts in refurbishing and running the home can be seen in Oaktree's most recent inspection report. The report can be viewed on the Care Quality Commission (CQC) website, and you can find a link to it on the left of our home page.
